Camilla Tenna Nørup Sørensen

Forsker indenfor international politik og udenrigs- og sikkerhedspolitiske analyse med særligt fokus på Kina som stormagtsaktør og på sikkerhedspolitiske og militære strategiske udviklinger i Østasien (Taiwan Strædet, Syd- og Østkinesiske Hav, Koreahalvøen, Kina-Japan-USA magtforhold og relationer) og implikationerne heraf for dansk udenrigs-, sikkerheds- og forsvarspolitik inkl. i det arktiske område og i forhold til Grønland. Bred teoretisk og metodisk profil dog med særligt fokus på nyere udviklinger indenfor det realistiske forskningsprogram (neoklassisk realisme) og konstruktivistisk udenrigs- og sikkerhedspolitisk analyse.

Conduct research on international politics and foreign and security policy analysis with a particular focus on China as a great power actor and on security and military strategic developments in East Asia (Taiwan Strait, South and East China Sea, Korean Peninsula, China-Japan-US power relations) and the implications hereof for Danish foreign, security and defense policy including in the Arctic and in relation to Greenland. Have a broad theoretical and methodological profile with a particular focus on recent developments within the realist research program (neoclassical realism) and constructivist foreign and security policy analysis.
