Ekspertise

Daniel Møller Ølgaard is Assistant Professor in Military Technology at the Royal Danish Defence College. Daniel’s research focuses on emerging and disruptive technologies across war, humanitarianism, and security. He is particularly interested in the transforming role of Big Tech and software corporations in military affairs, and how imaginaries about new technologies, such as AI, quantum and C4ISR, shape military organizations. Daniel has published his work in international journals, such as International Affairs and edited volumes, and regularly appears in media to comment on issues related to new technologies and warfare. He also regularly delivers presentations and briefings on these issues to military units in and beyond the Danish Defence.
